The StudioLive® 16.4.2AI is the perfect 16-channel (16x4x2) digital mixer for live mixing and on-location recording for churches, clubs, corporate, institutional, and other installations. It operates so much like an analog mixer that even novice customers will immediately feel at home. Naturally, the StudioLive 16.4.2AI features our highly respected XMAX Class A mic preamps—even on the Talkback input!

Loaded with no-compromises signal processing on every channel, easy store and recall of every setting, high-end converters and preamps, and an integrated FireWire s800 multitrack recording interface, the 16.4.2AI is expandable to 48 channels and boasts networking capabilities (including Dante™ and AVB) unmatched in their price class.

StudioLive 16.4.2AI has 16 mix buses, 6 aux buses, 4 subgroups, a talkback section with XMAX preamp, extensive LED metering, mixer-scene save and recall, and channel-strip save/recall/copy/paste. Eight 31-band, graphic EQs are available on the aux sends and the main output bus.

Each channel features individually switched 48V phantom power, ¼-inch balanced line input, and insert point. Channel, subgroup, and main levels are set with 100 mm faders.

Note that the speed of your processor, amount of RAM and size and speed of your hard drive will greatly affect the overall performance of your recording system. Also, a more powerful system (faster processor with more RAM) will allow for lower latency (signal delay) than you might experience while monitoring audio signals.
