Great Sound for All Seasons
The S-X118S is the rugged outdoor version of our popular X118S Super Sub design. It complements our outdoor line arrays, delivering 35 Hz to 150 Hz sub-bass in the most demanding environments, such as football and soccer fields, stadiums, and amusement parks. Directivity can be omni or cardioid, depending on placement.
An 18-inch, 700W low-frequency transducer with 4-inch voice coil provides minimal distortion and smooth, extended low-frequency response. It is available as a passive system.
Deep Bass Output That Can Withstand the Elements
The heavily reinforced S-X118S enclosure uses 18 mm Baltic birch cross-laminated wood over an aluminum frame and is finished with a polyurea coating, with UV exterior outdoor protection and a fiberglass seal coating inside and out. The stainless steel fasteners will maintain their appearance, while a stainless steel, perforated grille, backed with a vinyl mesh, completes each system.
